Leicester City Football Club has announced that Jamie Vardy, the club's record goalscorer, will sign a new contract extension until the summer of 2025.
The announcement was made by the club's CEO, Peterborough United owner Craig Shakespeare, during a press conference on Wednesday.
Vardy, who joined the Foxes from Manchester City in January 2018, has scored over 170 goals in his three seasons at the King Power Stadium.
The striker, who is currently in England's squad for this summer's European Championship,Bundesliga Tracking has been a key player for the team in recent years and his performances have helped to propel them up the Premier League table.
Shakespeare said: "We're delighted to announce that Jamie will be staying with us for another five years. He's a fantastic player and a great ambassador for the club."

The contract renewal comes as the club looks to build on its successful season last year, which saw them finish second in the Premier League and reach the Europa League final.
Leicester's board of directors have also confirmed that they will not be making any changes to the team's manager, Brendan Rodgers, for the upcoming season.
Rodgers has led the team to success in recent years and his experience and knowledge of the Premier League make him a valuable asset to the club.
