Lautaro Martinez scores crucial goal in Inter Milan's win over Real Madrid

Lautaro Martinez scored the only goal of the match as Inter Milan secured their first win against Real Madrid this season.

The Argentine forward was on target from close range after scoring with a header in the 72nd minute, which proved to be enough for Inter to secure all three points and move up to third place in Serie A.

Real Madrid had dominated much of the game but were unable to find the back of the net, despite creating numerous opportunities themselves.

Inter coach Antonio Conte praised his team's performance and said that they have improved since their defeat to Manchester United earlier in the week.

"Today we showed a great mentality and determination," he said. "We didn't give up and fought until the end."

Conte also highlighted the importance of Lautaro's goal, saying that it was "a big help" for his side.

"He is very important because he can score goals and create chances,Premier League Updates" Conte added.

Overall, it was a successful night for Inter Milan, who have now won two consecutive matches and moved closer to securing a top-four finish in Serie A.

However, Real Madrid will hope to bounce back soon and continue their strong run of form in the Champions League, where they currently sit second in Group F behind Liverpool.
