Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has broken a record for most goals scored in a single season with the Serie A club Inter Milan.
The Belgian international netted his 41st goal of the season on Sunday, as Inter won 2-1 against Bologna in Serie A.
This is the highest number of goals ever scored by a player in a single season in Italian football, breaking the previous record set by AC Milan forward Alessandro Del Piero in 2005/6.
Lukaku has been in sensational form this season, scoring 18 goals in 19 league appearances,Bundesliga Tracking including two hat-tricks and a brace in the UEFA Champions League.
His impressive performances have seen him earn himself a new contract extension until June 2023, and he will be hoping to continue his impressive form for the rest of the season and beyond.
